Confucius Classrooms are an excellent learning and teaching resource. Hanban has provided a package of resources and teaching materials to each Classroom Hub for children and young people across a wide age range to help with teaching Chinese language and culture. The Confucius Institute for Scotland has a collection of books and media related to China. Highlights of the growing collection include resources for studying Chinese language as well as materials related to China in both Chinese and English. The Confucius Institute for Scotland runs a weekly Chinese film showing during the academic year. For a list of the films from last session, see the Institute website. To keep up to date on upcoming films (and other events), join the mailing list by emailing a request to info@confuciusinstitute.ac.uk.
The University of Edinburgh library has a collection of more than 600 films of China's 20th century film history. The Language and Humanities Centre at the University of Edinburgh also has a Chinese film collection.
The Ricefield Arts and Cultural Centre in Glasgow has a growing library where Chinese films and other China-related resources can be found.
